for personal records,

I'VE TAKEN OUT BRACES AND I SKIPPED SCHOOL TODAY WHOOHOO.

now, there's a few more hours of classroom education left for this week, and its going to be shorter than usual 'cause we're going to do MOE survey! and ACE and BP are non-examinable, so i guess it means more slacking. (ACE not really, but my mock UN group finished presentation and paper already!)

yes, its time to get real.
---
next week have to go for flag raising. ugh, why can't they confine us in class again?
---
my eye itches and my teeth are getting extra sensitive since the absence of braces (i'm afraid of exposed nerves/tooth decay).
): ):
---
i realise i keep using "---" in my posts.

it (kinda) pains me

to see how people get stuck in a rut so often. its like being one of the sole survivors of a plane wreck. at these sort of times i suddenly feel really grateful that i have a Christian faith.

you know you've wasted your time if you find yourself agreeing with every line of Macbeth's soliloquy (Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow).

dental in a few hours time.

I'm staring at a broken door

the best way to gain arm muscle is to invest your dollars on time crisis.
yay time crisis. "cheap thrills"!
anw the ollie king game (i think there's only one set in the whole of sg) is not fully functional anymore ):

doing the meme again. trying to get a nicer poem (instead of focusing on work ugh).
i keep talking of work. i think i'm a workaholic.
anyway i chose a playlist with songs of the same genre (to me). thats kind of cheating haha.

yeah so i created a new playlist with less than a hundred songs (i got 95 -.-) and i shall use it for this:

Put your MP3 player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results. The first line of the twenty-first is the title.
---
Title: I'm staring at a broken door

Burning down Neverland (scatter the ashes)
So let me get this straight
Birds flying high
Link it to the world
Don't try to wake me up even if the sun does come out tomorrow
Despair till the point that they provoke
Sit tight, i'm gonna need you to keep
And we're driving
North to South
For my sweetheart, my melancholic
I'm sitting in a room
And here i dreamt i was a soldier
Tonight we drink to youth
I'm gonna make it bend and break
Empty streets
This house is a circus
I am an arms dealer
I got alot to say to you
Now she's older
There's someone inside me that softly kills everyone around

Was it you who spoke the words that,

Put your MP3 player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results. The first line of the twenty-first is the title.
---
(paragraphed for easier viewing)
---
Title: Was it you who spoke the words that,

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone/
He looks as if he hasn't slept/
Lord give me grace/
Trouble travels fast when especially designed for crash testing or wearing wool sunglasses in the afternoon/

Paper bags and plastic hearts/
Was a long and dark December/
Squint your eyes and look closer/
Gone, she's gone/

I used to rule the world/
She is a wave but she's breaking/
I have never walked on water/
How cruel is the golden rule/

I wished you would have smiled in the bakery/
Yeah/
I think i'm drowning/
Step by step/

I'm coming out of my cage and i've been doing just fine/
This town is colder now/
Fear/
Despair till the point that they provoke/

most of the lines actually make no sense -.-
even though the end product is crap, but the songs are great(: i think i should do this again to get a nicer poem, using another playlist.
weird(er) lines:
"yeah" ????!!!! why must the first line be one word dammit -.-
and the fourth line. jackjohnson said that in (almost) one breath -.-

alcoholics and teetotallers

"you are a cow".

haah, i feel as clumsy as one now. do you really think i survived fifteen years to educate myself on the not-so-fine points of integration or hydrocarbons? do you really think so?

pfft.

singapore is a nanny country and this is a nanny school.

been slacking the whole evening/night away. reading articles about radiohead and miley cyrus and kanye west and all the most misguided fan comments (ahem, miley's fans) on radiohead.
(ahem, along the lines of 'radiohead is crap') really ridiculously enraging and laughable. and that was what i spent my time on--enraging myself (makes no sense whatsoever).

"When Miley grows up, she'll learn not to have such a sense of entitlement,"

sense of entitlement.
sidetrack: thom yorke is either incredibly shy or incredibly proud.
---
anyway i saw this notebook (note: on muji's website); its designed by a SINGAPOREAN (:o) and its really quite cool. i thought it was a japanese product at first (cause of the muji brand). its called a chronotebook, and instead of usual planners which have lines and boxes and such, its pages are blank except for an analog clock in the centre (and that's damn cool, i wouldn't mind one).

link: http://gemssty.com/2007/12/12/muji-award-02-more-on-chronotebook/

its called, using your right brain. hurray for right-brained singaporeans (all of whom i believe have been sidelined by the gov in preference for left-brainers in the past years).

sidetrack: did anyone think of the phrase 'no-brainer' while reading my utterly pointless ramble?

its not just how they look;

watched half blood prince. rottentomato.com gives an accurate review (to me, anyway).
death eaters were way more interesting than harry potter -.-

reason behind alan rickman's voice: "When he was a child, he had a speech disability: his lower jaw was very tight, causing his words to be indistinctive and muffled. He still has a slight speech impediment, it is the tight lower jaw which gives him his distinctive drawl."

Frank Dillane's acting was the best. and he's quite new to acting (?!?!?!) and he's either 16, or 19 (?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!)

plus helen carter, ever since OoTP. whoo.

sometimes i love antagonists.
sheesh i got alot of things to do.

these busy times

i'm really busy. working on mock UN paper again, and i'm going to start eoy mugging soon.
i'm planning to start eoy mugging soon. just deal with it. some people need to start mugging 2 months in advance, because its inevitable that somewhen ('somewhen'??) in august, i'll be procrastinating/slacking. (no regrets)
that's just weird. i don't know anyone who revises before slacking. clever people revise at about august/september because by then teachers should have covered every chapter of the syllabus already.
---
its so weird (again), posting this on blogger. i have the impression that casual bloggers are couch potatoes of everyday life, and that they don't have good sense of language (must be due to the twitzxzxzxz).
---
doofus.
