la presentation aside,
american idol rock and roll week broadcasting tonight later.
and i was prepared for kris to be voted out. cause its rock n' roll, hello?! and worse is, they paired kris with danny gokey and adam with allison (yes they're doing duets) so obviously the rocker dude and dudette had things going in their direction.
so maybe, the idol thing was set like this, oh its rock n roll for top 4, and adam and allison will pull through, and if they dont its most obviously a setup, and they dont want it to be obvious, no? and danny and kris, yeah they're good, but at disadvantage. and then since the producers want a adam vs danny finale, kris has to go out some time right? (no srly, i dont think they care how much money they got from kris's top 3 tracks) so if they make kris go out before allison, with rock n roll as an excuse, with the pairing with danny as the perfect excuse, then kris's fans will be split among adam and danny and next week obviously allison will be out, and her fans will likely choose adam. and the monstrous, highest-record-at-47million votes still remain (and likely increase: people who split votes between adam and someone else will focus every vote on adam, adam's fans will vote more, and other fans will vote more to make up for the vote splitting voters)

my take on idol 09. my cynical viewpoint mixed with depression and desperation and bitterness, because the odds are stacked against kris. (and im so far away from getting an A in LA, which i want since i like the subject...well, more than others)

now i pray that he (or someone else) will enter the music industry with a post idol album and that the album would be a big hit and be sold in singapore stores, i'll might buy it (and maybe adam's one too)
